Lingard agent lets rip

Jesse Lingard’s agent has absolutely let rip at Manchester United as he prepares to leave the club this summer.

The England international has struggled immensely this season.

While he has made 22 appearances in all competitions, just four of them have been starts.

He has only made two starts in the Premier League, and has managed to score two goals.

His contract is set to expire at the end of the season and it now appears certain that he will be heading out of the club, with his agent, who is also his brother, taking to Instagram to fire a severe shot at the Red Devils after he was left out of the side for their final home game of the season against Brentford.

There was no mention of him leaving the club from United.

He wrote: “20 years of blood, sweat, and tears, 4 domestic trophies, 3 cup final goals, not even a farewell. No wonder it’s Conference League next year. Attacking players for celebrations when the club’s being sold to the Super League, ok. Class of 92, Busby Babes. You’re ran by people who don’t even know the offside trap. Classless and the fans need to realise. Goodnight, God bless, tarar. 

“Been there since 9 years of age and didn’t even get a send off!! Well done bro, your family are proud.”

It remains to be seen if the Hammers will reignite their interest in signing Lingard, having had him for a brief, and sensational, loan spell last season.

But he is now poised to depart United, so there could be a perfect opportunity for the Irons to bring him in.
