The 28-year old attacking midfielder remains a Hammer technically until the end of the month when the loan with Manchester United expires.

David Moyes hopes a bid of around £20m will persuade Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to do the right thing by his player and allow him to play week in, week out for the Hammers next season.
