New claims that Jesse Lingard could be on his way back to the Hammers have been rubbished!
The excellent Hammers News makes it clear that such a possibility is highly unlikely at Big question marks over new West Ham January transfer claims
That makes a lot of sense and I for one can imagine the face of David Moyes were to be told by his head of recruitment Rob Newman at their next meeting he had found the perfect player in the Manchester United attacking midfielder!!!
The Lingard return possibility has been revisited almost as many times as the Declan set to leave tale and the question that really needs asking is why on earth would DM go back for him when a left back and out and out striker is required.
Moyes would probably walk into a storm of protest were he to splash cash on a player whom he replaced with £18 million Nikola Vlasic whilst ignoring those requirements as he did in some areas when bringing him in on loan in the first place.
For the record Hammers News also point out there are also claims that Lingard’s brother Louie Scott is his agent.
But we made it clear that Lingard’s agent is his father who was the major person in the decision for his son staying at Old Trafford this summer.
