Nottingham Forest are rivalling West Ham for Jesse Lingard, according to The Guardian.

The England international is said to be poised to make a decision over his future and the Hammers have made an offer to secure his signature on a permanent basis.

The attacking midfielder had an excellent loan spell at the club two years ago and David Moyes has maintained his interest in signing the player.

The Guardian reports that plenty of clubs are being kept abreast of the situation.

Everton are also said to be in the running, while Leicester, Newcastle, and Tottenham are all monitoring developments and Forest are now considering making an offer themselves.

The Irons are also looking to sign a striker and are in talks with Chelsea over a deal for Armando Broja, as David Moyes bids to bring a new striker into his squad this summer.

It remains to be seen who Lingard decides to join.
