West Ham are unlikely to learn of Jesse Lingard’s decision over his future any time soon.

Sources close to the Manchester United star have confirmed the attacking midfielder has gone on holiday and could be away for up to nmonth

The Old Trafford club have confirmed that Lingard is leaving the club upon the expiration of his contract, but he has yet to make any kind of call on his future with our sources claiming he will think over possible options and offers received.

However some at the club believe West Ham may be one of the only clubs seeking a deal to sign the ex-England international but it remains to be seen if other clubs will come in for him; Spurs and Newcastle were linked in January and there is also said to be interest from Europe.

Lingard may well decide to make a change and head abroad although David Moyes is understood to still be interested in doing a deal despite reported £180k a week wage hopes.

Lingard of course had a wristwatch stolen whilst at the Hammers which may have soured his relationship with the club.
