Little Isla gains “her angel’s wings”

Little Isla Caton has so sadly lost her fight against cancer.

The seven year old passed away with her parents revealing on Twitter: “It is with the heaviest of broken hearts that we must announce Isla gained her angel wings early hours of this morning, it was very peaceful and surrounded by the continued love of Nicola, Michael & Millie God bless our brave Isla.

West Ham fans have been raising money for the Irons supporting family as they battled to find life saving treatment for the little one and the players too visited  in Spain where she received treatment.

The brave youngster was diagnosed with high-risk neuroblastoma when she was just two years old and  spent the majority of her life having chemotherapy and operations.

In a heartbreaking Facebook Live video, Mum Nikki tearfully told supporters the devastating news.

They fought tirelessly to give Isla the best life possible and sold their possessions to take her to Barcelona for life-saving treatment.

Just 100 children are diagnosed with the rare and aggressive cancer every year.The hearts of all of us at Claret and Hugh go out to Isla’s parents and the family
