Liverpool fans have come out in droves on social media to defend Mo Salah from accusations of diving and cheating as other pundits back David Moyes view that his fall for the much discussed penalty was theatrical and should not have been awarded.

Journalist James Pearce – who is the Liverpool reporter for the Athletic – wrote “Moyes let himself down with his moaning about the penalty decision. Should have saved his complaints for Masuaku who senselessly booted the back of Salah’s leg.”
Liverpool fans Brendan Gallagher replied and saidDanny Murphy let himself down a bag full there on BBC Match of the Day basically called Salah a cheat despite clearly being kicked”
Many other Liverpool supporters took to Twitter to defend their striker often attacking and belittling any who dared suggest Salah dived or was a cheat while moaning that referees and VAR are against them and that there’s is therefore a mass conspiracy to stop them winning the Premier League title again.
Sadly some of these comments are probably from some of the same Liverpool fans who sent death threats and abuse to Jordan Pickford for his tackle on Liverpool star Virgil van Dijk. He had since hired bodyguards. in response.
