In yet another freedom of information request stadium owners, E20  Stadium LLP have revealed what they have spent in change requests since the original design of the transformation of the London Stadium. The changes account for over £9m of public money. These are all changes which weren’t originally budgeted or were changed at a later date from the original transformation.

Wall for champions for London 2012 Olympics £163,000

Power and cables for Outside broadcast centre £1.8m

Hospitality fit out £1.124m

Lighting for community track £120,000

Creation of Neutral Fan Zone for West Ham £129,000

Wayfinder signage in Stadium £277,912

Modifications to retractable seating to accommodate Major league Baseball £290,000

Redesign of West Ham ticket office £24,000

Widening of gangways for concert crowds £740,000

Change of height of West Ham ticket office counters £120,000

Additional ICT network infrastructure £474,000

Additional power infrastructure for catering £1.635m

Temporary generators for stadium caterers £273,000

EE Mobile mast infrastructure for Rugby World Cup £84,000
