The London Stadium is claimed to be on a secret list of approved neutral venues that the 92 Premier League games could be completed.

Premier League games are planned to be staged behind closed doors at neutral venues if the UK Government gives football the green light to return. West Ham’s London Stadium, Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium and Manchester City’s Etihad stadium are said to be among the final venues chosen plus one as yet unnamed stadium in the midlands.

No club will be allowed to play in their own own home ground in a bid to equalise the unprecedented scenario. Clubs will meet again next Friday, 24 hrs after the next lockdown announcement to decide on a way forward. Another Premier League meeting scheduled for May 15th  has put back to 18th May giving clubs more time to assess the evolving situation.

The stadia on the Premier League approved list have been chosen for their ease of implementing of social distancing.
