London Stadium delays opening turnstiles

Stadium Operators London Stadium 185 have been beset by technical problems today which have caused the delayed opening of the turnstiles this afternoon.

Gates were set to open at 1.30pm this afternoon as West Ham take on Stoke but by 1.55pm many supporters were still stuck outside complaining they couldn’t get in.

A London Stadium 185 spokesman told us“We are still concluding pre-match checks. Further update shortly”

We received confirmation from the Stadium operators just after 2pm that the Stadium was now fully open. An insider told ClaretandHugh that the Stadium’s public address system was playing up and the whole PA system needed to be re-tested before allowing supporters for their safety protocol.
