Low chance of signing West Ham transfer targets

The chances of signing any of West Ham main striker targets remain low at the moment a club insider has told Claret and Hugh this afternoon. Earlier today we explained the chances of signing Maxi Gomez were dramatically lower than last week after Arsenal entered the race pushing up the price beyond what West Ham were hoping to do a deal at with Celta Vigo.

Now it appears now other Hammers forward targets including Moussa Marega, Salomon Rondon and Aleksandar Mitrovic are also no more than one in ten chance of being concluded any time soon.

West Ham has thirty players over the age 21 next season and needs to move some on as soon as possible to create slots to bring players in this summer. They do not want to loan players out on subsidised loans early August as the club have too many players on the books.

With estimated losses will be £35m this season just gone and a real danger of breaching FFP rules with possible sanctions the Hammers must get rid of fringe players as quickly as possible while spending the limited money wisely to maximise the summer transfer window.
