Ludo to be reimbursed for tickets

Former Hammer Ludo Miklosko will be reimbursed for tickets he bought for the West Ham v Chelsea match the club have confirmed.

The former goalkeeper told West Ham fans at a Hammers Heroes event last night in Hornchurch that he paid for Hammers tickets while getting Spurs and Arsenal tickets for free.

Today the club called Ludo and got to the bottom of the situation. It appears he obtained the tickets some weeks ago through a friend who had a contact in the ticket office – who has since left the club.

The club say had they been aware that Ludo wished to the attend the game on Saturday, they would have accommodated him and his party with complimentary tickets – as they have already have done for a number of former players who are at the London Stadium this weekend. They are now taking the necessary steps to resolve the issue for Ludo.

The misunderstanding refreshes the call for West Ham to setup an official former Players association like Arsenal and Manchester City do. Last month Newcastle set up a former players association the details of which can be found here
