Magical win – just one disappointment
I admire Jurgen Klopp a lot. Great manager and normally honest in defeat but like the sacked Dean Smith before him last week he showed bitterness in defeat which was well out of order.
Ir seems to me that he and Smith , plus no doubt a few others as the season progresses, can’t take defeat from a team that has been considered a soft touch for years.
The idea that he spouted claiming the game was changed in the fourth minute when goalkeeper Allison was fouled was simply not true.
And to base the fact that we put three past them was just plain silly – I thought he understood the game a bit better than that.
This ungracious attitude from managers and players does my head in.
I understand that we put one of the final nails in the Smith coffin but that’s not gonna happen to Klopp and he might have apologised when looking at it a second time.
The Hammers were massive and so were our amazing fans.
What a Sunday afternoon and Monday morning to wake up to!
