Magnificent…it gets no better

We were absolutely superb from start to finish and with key players missing this was the greatest performance of the season and the night London Stadium became home.

Tonight we sit in ninth place on the back of a Hammers display to die for – hands up all those who want Slaven Bilic sacked…be absolutely assured, the boss is going nowhere after that.

We started fast, got faster and ended the nine game winning run from the north Londoners with a display of guts, spirit and class. Quite simply we were by far the better team.

Claims by Eric Dier afterwards that we sat deep – suggesting that were tried to defend – were utter nonsense. We played high for the entire 90 minutes.

Yes, Adrian needed to make a couple of world class saves but just as was the case with Romelu Lukaku, the Hammers totally eclipsed Keane and Alli.

Our defence were totally magnificent with Jose Fonte probably producing his best shot in a hammers shirt yet, while Ginge and Winston Reid were again on top of their game.

Manu Lanzini’s 65th minute close range strike came at the end of a great move and  set the LS rocking in much the same sort of fashion as we saw at Upton Park – it really was that sort of atmosphere.

No Carroll, no Sakho, no Masuaku absolutely no problems as we closed Spurs down all over the park and but for a brilliant save from  Lloris, Jonathon Calleri – who worked his socks off all night – would have buried the second.

Wonderful night…wonderful victory – now let’s finish this horrible season off with a couple of wins against Liverpool and Burnley.
