Manager replacement story so wide of the mark

The Portuguese news website claims that Lazio are also keen to hire the 46-year-old, who is doing a fine job at the Estádio do Dragão.

The bogus report claims that West Ham are trying to tempt Conceição to the London Stadium with the promise of a massive transfer budget.

The claims couldn’t be further from the truth. David Moyes will sit down with owners to agree on a new two year deal and there is no suggestion from either side that the other side is not happy.

The West Ham board are delighted with the progress the manager has made this season compared to last and will back him in the transfer market as he tries to replicate the same again next season in the Premier League with possibly a run in the Europa League competition.
