Manchester United turned down a West Ham offer of £15m option to buy Jesse Lingard this summer according to Dean Jones writing for Eurosport.

On top of the £1.5million loan fee, £2.5m in wages and a £500,000 European qualification bonus the Hammers wanted to include a buyout clause for him to join permanently in a £15m move but Manchester United said no.

Manchester United said they knew he was capable of the form he has been showing this past month and now will be looking for offers upwards of £20m if he leaves in the summer in an open bidding war.

Hopefully, Jesse Lingard himself will have a big say on his future this summer, he already seems settled at West Ham and holds a key card of who he agrees personal terms with just 12 months remaining on his contract.

With three goals from four games, Lingard has been turning some heads in the Premier League.
