Manu Lanzini has miraculously walked away after the car in which he was travelling became a pile of wreckage  after a dramatic smash on the A12,

The 29 year old Hammers midfielder walked free after the chauffeur driven £70,000 Mercedes people carrier when it flipped over  this afternoon (Thursday)

The Sun reports that other motorists watched in horror at V-CLass – with a West Ham number plate – landed on its side in a crumpled mess.

Firefighters raced to the scene but Lanzini miraculously walked out unhurt. He was checked at the scene but ruled well enough to carry on to training.

It is thought he was being driven back to Rush Green after returning to the country from international duty with Argentina.

And a source is reported as saying: “It’s a miracle he’s alive, from what I’ve heard.”

Manu is set to be included in the Hammers squad for the game against Everton on Sunday and we are just so utterly relieved that he has escaped from what was one of the most frightening flips possible

It makes him being suspended from the match against Lyon next Thursday a near irrelevancy by comparison and we just hope he suffers no serious shock waves following this horrible incident.

However,  such is the guy’s confidence and approach to life we are sure he will be on the pitch against Frank Lampard’s outfit.

Relief is the only emotion which will be felt right across his family, Hammers colleagues the club and fans.
