West Ham boss David Moyes has been revealing his plans for the transfer window which is something of a surprise given how he likes to keep things solidly under wraps.

Ok he hasn’t said a huge amount but having signed Flynn Downes he is making it clear just how hard he is trying to bring in players.

It certainly seems that the boss has a major revamp in mind with Armando Broja and Blackburn striker Ben Brereton-Diaz the two major striker targets it seems.

It’s a tough time of the year for all managers and probably more so for the Hammers boss as he looks to fill several holes in a minimal squad.

He has been discussing the position on the official site at whufc.com declaring: “It’s a busy time and as everybody knows we’re trying really hard to add to the squad.

“We’ve been making offers for players, some have been getting accepted and some haven’t been.

“But that’s where the sort of little bit the pressure comes at this time of the year, trying to get those players in that you’d like to add to the squad.”

Beyond that the left back situation will need to be sorted with Cressie probably having hit his ceiling at 32 and with the club having reportedly missed out to on Tyrell Malacia to Manchester United.

The summer transfer window closes on Thursday September 1st at 11pm.
