Moyes explains Ogbonna/Collins absences

David Moyes has revealed that both Angelo Ogbonna and James Collins are both sidelined today via illness and injury. Speaking just before the game the Hammers boss said: James has a little hamstring injury and Angelo is just feeling unwell.

He indicated that Chicharito is involved up front given his recent good form but refused to dub this a “must-win” game in particular.

He said: “Every game is vital – all games are to be won and I really don’t remember it ever being any other way. We all know that’s the case in the Premier League.”

The Hammers will be confronted by their former player Andre Ayew who starts his first game for the Swans at the Liberty Stadium this afternoon.

Ayew rejoined his former club in the winter transfer window for £18 million.
