Video footage streamed live showed Nathan Trott, David Martin, Angelo Ogbonna, Ryan Fredericks, Fabian Balbuena, Said Benrahma and Ben Johnson training with Kevin Nolan and Alan Irvine in small groups. Yamolenko was spotted running around the training ground with a fitness trainer.

Later Pablo Fornals, Tomas Soucek, Jarrod Bowen and Vladimir Coufal could be seen taking part in some light training with some head tennis.

Moyes explained players usually spend half an hour in the gym before they come out to the training pitches adding they go back into the gym afterwards to work on indivdual strength and weighs programmes they do by themselves. He said they well feed after training with the right nutrients.
