Moyes makes Hammers position very clear

David Moyes is clearly feeling relieved after seeing his squad lose just one game in the last seven following the draw against Chelsea.

The previous week’s draw  at Newcastle and victory over Everton may not have done much in terms of league position but confidence is rising and we remain in the FA Cup with a trip to Manchester United in the offing.

The match at Spurs may turn out to  the toughest of the latest three but after that comes Nottingham Forest followed, however, by  Premier League gams against bogey team Brighton, away, Villa at home an Man City away.

Nothing like the most comfortable run but the manager know exactly how important it is to keep things going,

Injuries continue to threaten our progress but hopefully those which have affected Nayef Aguerd and Lucas Paqueta won’t turn out to be serious.

Speaking after the game against the Blues Moyes said: ” We need to keep picking up points.

Three points is what we need really and I thought with the one at the end [Souček’s goal which was ruled out following a VAR check for offside], maybe it’s our day, we’re nicking one late on and maybe winning a game which didn’t look like it, but unfortunately it’s ruled out.

I’ve not seen the medical team yet, so I couldn’t tell you what either Paquetá or Nayef Aguerd got.

But, look, we can’t afford any more injuries, that’s for sure.  Certainly not at centre-half, where we’re down to the bare bones and we’re needing them all fit with the games we’ve got coming up.

We’ve got to hope they’re okay.
