Moyes one year anniversary remembered with thanks

We missed it by 24 hours but it would be entirely wrong not to remember David Moyes’ one year anniversary as Hammers boss on his second coming.

He took over a year ago yesterday and it bears repeating that we are all greatly indebted to the fella .

He has saved us twice now – once during a desperate period when protests were at their peak – and then whilst looking near odds on for relegation  whilst playing some very nice football.

We sit in 10th place and played some magnificent stuff during the early part o the campaign against some very tough sides.

The loss of Mikey Antonio has been a problem of course but despite that the team has continued to dig out good results in the main.

Every manager will always have his critics and that often spills over into serious ill which is always entirely unnecessary.

So at the end of this  12 months it would be entirely wrong not to say: Well done Moysie and thanks for some much needed stability.
