CandH exclusive by Hughie Southon

The West Ham board are usually very reluctant to pull the  the rug from under their managers.

As things stand the board have managed to keep us in the Premier League for ten years plus and we have been through our share of bosses in that time.

Sam Allardyce, Slaven Bilic, Mauel Pellegrini, David Moyes have been involved over that time and CandH were often told towards the end of their time how any departure would be handled.

It usually involved each of them getting a certain number of points from upcoming games if they were to survive and there’s no reason to believe that won’t be how it is handled this time around.

Two or three CandH sources who understand how the board work and have been close to things down the years are saying much the same thing tonight,

They are unanimous in believing that the manager will have to take a minimum of five points from the next three games when the team return to action after the events in Qata,

With games coming against Arsenal away, Brentford at home and Leeds away that could be tough.

It’s wait and see time and the anxiety started at around 5pm this evening.
