David Moyes has put his trust in the kids.

West Ham go into tonight’s game against FCSB well aware that they have won their Europa Conference League group, while the Romanian side are guaranteed to finish bottom.

As a result, the Hammers boss has rotated heavily ahead of the Premier League clash with Crystal Palace this weekend.

Only one player keeps their place from the weekend’s clash against Manchester United: Flynn Downes. The ex-Swansea star starts in midfield.

The 16-year-old prospect Oliver Scarles starts on the left of the midfield, while 18-year-old Divin Mubama starts up front.

Conor Coventry also starts in midfield, alongside Manuel Lanzini, while Angelo Ogbonna takes the captain’s armband.

On the surface, it very much looks like Moyes is starting with a back four, while the subs bench is made up almost exclusively of kids.

West Ham XI: Areola; Coufal, Aguerd, Ogbonna, Johnson; Downes, Lanzini, Coventry, Scarles; Fornals; Mubama. Subs: Randolph, Hegyi, Ashby, Casey, Clayton, Forbes, Swyer, Orford, Potts, Appiah-Forson.
