David Moyes has revealed how he danced around his living room while in isolation as the hammers beat Wolves 4-0 at the London Stadium.

But he has added that it was also the game when he realised he and the squad were going to have to do things differently.

Having goyt off to defeats by Arsenal and Newcastle the team came very good against Wolves and continued the form with a massive win at Leicester City.

And peaking to reporters the manager said: “Pearcey was on the phone , my telly had about a one minute lag before it was coming in, and I’d been phoning through.

The next minute, the phone was ringing and I’m saying “what is it?”, and he said, “just scored”. It was great, I could watch the telly knowing that you were waiting on the goal coming in.

It was a great moment, that, knowing that there was a goal coming. It was great at that time, the staff done a brilliant job and carried it off brilliantly well.

When we beat Wolves and we beat Leicester,  they were two enormous victories for us at that time and not only that, we won quite well, we had results, good goals which have our goal difference a good starting point as well.”

Nut he explained: In my head we felt that we were gonna have to do things differently. We started against Newcastle with four at the back, and Arsenal at that time in the season we’re playing a bit with five at the back, they were a big threat the way they were playing,

So we made a decision that I would do that and it didn’t get the result but we were very close. So Wolves played that similar system, we thought it would be the right way to play.

And we played with that system and it got really good results. So that was it, it gave us a kick on and give us a lift at that start season, and as you well know we’ve been on a pretty good run since then.

Yeah we’ve lost some games but we’ve been pretty much consistent since that point really.
