Moyes target Mitrovic in celebration mode

David Moyes was tonight (Tues) in the Craven Cottage stands to watch Fulham beat  Leeds United 2-0 as he ran the rule over three potential summer signings.

The Hammers boss is known to be particularly keen on Fulham’s Tom Cairney, full back Ryan Fredericks and striker Aleksandar Mitrovic who was on the score sheet with a 63rd minute goal – his 13th at all levels this season.

Mitrovic may well have been Moyes’ prime target this evening given the West Ham boss was at Serbia’s 2-0 win over Nigeria in the international break watching the Newcastle loanee score twice at Barnet’s Hive Stadium..

The 23 year old has been in stunning form for Fulham and Moyes and will have been pleased with what he saw tonight.

However, the win over Leeds served to lift Fulham into third place in the Championship just five points behind second placed Cardiff City.

And should the Londoners gain promotion that will make Moyes’ hopes of landing his targets tougher than he would have hoped.
