David Moyes was spotted on a new scouting mission as he watched QPR beat Millwall 4-3 at Loftus road.

It is hoped he was there to watch Eberechi Eze who scored as West Ham loanee Jordan Hugill was not playing.

The Hammers are reported to be interested in the QPR midfielder Eze who they are said to value at £12m.

Eze has just one year left on his deal at QPR and could leave for free next summer. The 22-year-old has racked up 13 goals and nine assists this season.

Primarily a number 10 who can play in from the left if needed, Eze looks to have a huge future.  He has been with QPR since 2016 after joining from Millwall but this season has been a breakthrough campaign for him.

He has been linked with interest from Spurs, Arsenal Chelsea, Leicester City, Southampton, Newcastle and Sheffield United in addition to West Ham.

The Hammers could be hoping that QPR would be interested in a swap deal plus cash for Jordan Hugill after the striker scored 15 goals for the West London side this season.

Moyes was also spotted at the Valley as Charlton Athletic played Wigan at the Championship.

While there is no doubt he was checking up on 24-year-old West Ham loanee Josh Cullen whose contract expires next June he was also reported to be checking out two Wigan players in the form of left-back 22-year-old Antonee Robinson and 23-year-old French central defender Cédric Kipré.
