David Moyes has repeated his declaration that the West Ham players will get away with nothing either on the pitch or the training ground.

The manager is clearly a seriously hard task master but despite everything is “really enjoying” life in the east end of London.

His various moves in dropping Winston Reid, leaving Chicharito and Andy Carroll on the sidelines and dropping captain Mark Noble from early games shows he is not for messing.

And ahead of tonight’s massive game against West Brom he said: “I’ve got to say I’m really enjoying it here. I’ve not enjoyed bits of the last couple of games but I’m enjoying being at the club.

“The players are good, I’m enjoying working with them, the players are having it. We are laying into them because we want the performances to be better, and behind the scenes we are not letting them get away with anything.

“We are trying to raise the standards, we’re trying to raise all the things to give us a chance of getting away from the wrong end of the table.”
