Nayef Aguerd looks likely to make his second appearance for West Ham against FCSB on Thursday.

Boss David Moyes will make a late call over the fitness of the Morocco international, who made his competitive debut for the club last week against Silkeborg.

Aguerd was left out of the squad to face Manchester United at the weekend due to concerns over his ability to play Premier League football this early into his comeback.

But Moyes is likely to view the dead rubber against FCSB in the Europa Conference League as a perfect opportunity to throw Aguerd back into the action and build up his fitness.

The centre-back was injured in pre-season against Rangers and has been working back to fitness ever since.

Moyes is also likely to rotate heavily, with a number of first-team stars given a rest ahead of this weekend’s Premier League London derby against Patrick Vieira’s Crystal Palace.
