West Ham boss David Moyes goes to Selhurst Park looking up rather than over his shoulder and making it clear he is looking for a big finish to the season.

Despite having only six games left the Hammers boss has declared that he is looking for five or six wins from the rest of the season.

To achieve that, victory tomorrow and defeating Manchester United and Manchester City will have to be on the agenda.

Brentford, Leeds and Leicester will also need to be seen off as the Hammers boss looks to become the Tom Cruise of football in a remake of Mission Impossible.

It’s a target which to many will make little sense to many but the manager is now as buoyant as he has been in several months and despite the defeat by Liverpool he is clearly feeling ultra confident.

First he needs to see off another veteran boss Roy Hodgson in tomorrow’s clash against Palace and said: “We are searching for five or six wins between now and the end of the season.

“That’s what we are doing, we are not just looking for one. We have got to give everything we can.

We had a couple of good games away and if we can continue to build on that and keep our performance levels high, which they have been recently, it will give us every chance.

“We are in a position in the league which we would rather not be in but we have to keep picking up points and we have to try and climb up the table,” Moyes added. “Our aim is to get as high up the table as we possibly can.
