Mubama given route out

Watford are reportedly interested in signing West Ham striker Divin Mubama.

The young forward has declined offers for a new long-term contract at The London Stadium, even though multiple attempts have been made. Hammers Director of Football Tim Steidten was spotted in deep conversation with Mubama during a recent match.

While several clubs are rumoured to be eyeing the player, Watford seems to be the first to make a move. Head coach Valerien Ismael is feeling the heat due to their poor performances, despite going unbeaten in their last five matches. Their main concern revolves around scoring goals.

After 15 matches in the ongoing season, Watford sit 16th in the league, standing seven points below the play-off zone and eight points above the relegation zone. However, despite their unbeaten streak in the past five games, Ismael’s team hasn’t been delivering impressive performances.

Mubama scored in last nights EFL trophy game which saw West Ham under 21’s beat Cheltenham 4-0.
