Nearly 1,000 miles later Pelle’s honesty applauded

CandH blogger Allen Cummings was among the travelling Hammers Army who journeyed nearly 500 miles to watch as big a load of rubbish as one could imagine.

Allen travels to every away game but after some fans laid into the manager earlier on the site this evening, he reckons Pelle’s statement  that if he could have take 11 off at half time he would have done, is spot on.

Commenting on the CandH FB page @ https://www.facebook.com/groups/363174467150521/ Allen made his feelings very clear.

He said: Well said Pelle! I’ve seen people calling out this player and that player as scapegoats.

I said then and I say now – the whole team were awful. Given the injuries it was the team most of us would have selected.

So to criticise Pellegrin for team selection doesn’t hold water. He picked his best team – and his best team let him – and us (particularly us travelling supporters) down badly. No-one else.

It’s down to them and them alone. 478 miles to watch that isn’t funny. I applaud Pelle for his honesty. If only his players had been as honest in their performance.
