New contract beckoning for Moyes

West Ham may be ready to bring forward contract talks with David Moyes forward following his outstanding start to the Hammers season.

The club usually waits until the end of each campaign should a contract be due , and although there is no urgency on either side, the board may decide to offer the 57-year-old a new contract over the next few weeks.

Moyes has made it clear in the past that he is comfortable in the current position and the but there are incentive clauses written into his current deal  which could trigger a new deal before summer.

After three top signings in Jarrod Bowen, Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal which has helped to transform the look of West Ham, Moyes is rapidly achieving his  first aim of restoring a reputation which had become damaged over recent years.

And with the club now now well over halfway towards the relegation safety target there’s strong reasons to believe a deal could be done sooner rather than later.
