Manu Lanzini will be in line for a new Hammers contract at the turn of the year.

The Hammers are keen to tie  the Argentinian to an extended contract as they did Michail Antonio and  are ready to talk to the midfielder’s advisers.

Lanzini was brought in an £8 million deal after a season’s loan and is already considered to be a £30 million plus player but the club has absolutely no intention of selling.

Instead they are ready to go all the way in bringing him into line with the club’s top earners after he stepped up brilliantly to take the place of Dimitri Payet last term.

A Hammers source told us that the club would be ready to discuss the new deal  with the player whose curent contract runs out in 2020.

Lanzini arrived  from Al Jazira at a price of £9.4 million after the Hammers bought up his contract from the club.

A Hammers source said: “We like to reward excellence and that has certainly been the case with Manuel.
