West Bromwich Albion have reportedly filed a formal complaint with FIFA against Saudi Arabia club AlHilal for negotiating with their player Matheus Pereira without the club’s permission. Pereira confirmed in his statement today that he received a ‘life-changing offer’ & wants to leave the Baggies.

The same report says West Brom are not budging on their £25m-£30m asking price for Matheus Pereira with AlHilal only prepared to offer £12.8m.

Pereira has allegedly been offered £139,000 per week by the Saudi Arabian outfit to move his family to the middle east.

The Athletic today claims that West Ham are the only Premier League club wanting to do a deal at the moment but confirm there have been no bids from England and the rejected bid from Al Hilal is the only offer that West Brom have received.

Claret and Hugh understand although West Ham made an early enquiry for the Baggies playmaker, Pereira is not a priority for David Moyes but remains an option.

West Ham have yet to make a formal bid and are unlikley to pay the full asking price or match the £139,000 per week reportedly being offered to Matheus.
