It has been suggested Jeremy Ngakia could end up a West Brom player under Slaven Bilic.

The club has confirmed that Ngakia will leave the club as a free agent next Tuesday after turning down a three-year contract or a temporary extension to finish the season.

The 19-year-old has already been linked to Spurs, Crystal Palace, Watford and Norwich City as well as German sides FC Schalke 04 and FC Köln. Now it appears Slaven Bilic has entered that speculation with the claim Bilic is a big admirer.

Speaking on his West Ham Way podcast ExWHUEmployee said “It’s believed that the latest club to be strongly interested in Ngakia is West Brom, There’s a strong chance that they will be in the Premier league next season. Their right-back Nathan Ferguson is out of contract himself and has possibly agreed to join Crystal Palace. So Bilic has maybe said to him you will come in and you’ll be our right-back.”

Bilic is known retains links and friendship with West Ham Academy staff so it would be bad darts if he suddenly appears at West Brom later this week.

For now, we will give Slav the benefit of the doubt just add the Baggies to  the long list of those linked.
