Another former Hammer, Quina, has found life difficult at the Hornets

Jeremy Ngakia ‘s decision to walk out on the Hammers to join relegated Watford may well be causing him a few regrets.

The Hammers were very keen to keep a player who had done pretty well over the handful of games for us before he chose not to extend his contract until the end of the longest season in the history of the game.

Instead – from what CandH has learned – he will instead be playing his football in the Championship next season at a club – Watford – who makes a practice of sacking managers and who apologised for the way they had run the club at the end of a fateful season.

Whichever manager identified him as a target has now been sacked and Ngakia will find himself playing under yet another new Hornets boss who mat or may not fancy him.

Maybe the fate the befell another Hammers kid – Quina – may be awaiting him. The lad made three Premier League appearances last season and 12 in all since being seen as a top capture.

Given our current issues at right back Ngakia may well have been challenging for a weekly role in the right back slot for us given Moysie’s enthusiasm for the youngster.

Now at the age of just 20 and very few PL games behind him after breaking through he finds himself in teh Championship with maybe an uncertain future given the nature of the way Watford run their business.
