Nicholas queries whether Ayew is value
“I thought it was a bit pricey but then again everything is pricey at the minute,” Nicholas told Sky Sports.
“He’s a decent player. He seems the type who, playing with better players, could get better again. There’s a lot I do like about him [but] it’s a lot of money.”
Andre Ayew was available on a free transfer last season but rejected the Hammers. Last August Hammers Chairman’s son Jack Sullivan has admitted that West Ham offered Andre Ayew £90,000 per week to become a Hammer before Swansea came in with a massive offer of £120,000 per week to gazump them.
