No chance of Irons U-turn

West Ham will not be handing Alex Kral any more chances this season unless an injury emergency strikes.

The club have well and truly made up their minds on the midfielder, who is currently on loan from Russian club Spartak Moscow.

He has found minutes hard to come by and we understand that he has made next to no impact in training, with David Moyes unlikely to throw him into the XI.

Kral is behind Mark Noble and Manuel Lanzini in the central midfield pecking order, with even Manu Lanzini preferred as a deep lying midfield option.

There is zero chance of the Hammers trying to sign Kral on a permanent basis at the end of the season and he will instead be looking for a new club, especially given the situation in Russia after their invasion of Ukraine.

Kral will go down as a misfire of a signing and the Hammers will be glad to get him off their books when the transfer window reopens in the summer.
