Robert Snodgrass is locked into a season-long loan at Aston Villa with no January window release clause leaving boss David Moyes to struggle with his current right sided issues.

Slaven Bilic’s regime allowed the £8 million signing to be loaned out to the Championship club where he has since become an instant hit with crowd demands for him to be permanently signed growing.

With Sofiane Feghouli also allowed to move and with Michail Antonio now injured, the club have no natural right sided winger – as highlighted in an earlier story today on the site.

It has now been been confirmed  by a club insider to CandH there is no release clause in the Snodgrass loan arrangement meaning David Moyes may need to look at his two rapidly emerging right sided youngsters Nathan Holland and Sead Hakšabanović (pictured above in Carabao Cup action against Spurs).

Holland joined the club from Moyes’ former club Everton and the young Swede arrived in a £2.5 million deal. Both d have been in sparkling form for the Under 23s along with a further option Martin Samuelsen.

However, the manager may also be looking at transfer window options for what has the appearance of a problem position following summer departures and Antonio’s current injury and sometimes emergency use through the middle when fit
