Mark Noble has made it clear he’ll be signing the new contract the Hammers are preparing to put in front of him at the end of the season.

ClaretandHugh broke the news a couple of weeks ago that the club would be triggering the option and offering him a new deal.

And in conversation with the Daily Mirror today the loyal midfielder said: “West Ham is my club. I love playing here and in a couple of seasons we’ll be moving into one of the best stadiums in the world – I’d love to be a part of that.”

If as expected, Mark turns out at Goodison Park this afternoon he will make his 204th appearance (229th in all) and pass Steve Potts previous record.

And on the present run of success he declared: “Fourth in the table speaks for itself. We’re up there for a reason. It ain’t down to luck. We work hard, we score goals. It’s a happy club at the minute.

“In football you never take anything for granted. In the first team I’ve played under five managers and there’s always a chance someone will come in who doesn’t like the way I play.

“But this year we have picked up points with a bit of style. As an experienced professional you have to embrace different ways of winning football matches but you have to enjoy the moments when you get patted on the back.”
