West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini has declared captain Mark Noble and Michail Antonio revealing they have trained all week without problems.

However, ClaretandHugh understands it’s fifty/fifty on whether either or both will be involved from the start.

We were told this afternoon that nether was certain to be join the match day squad earlier in the week but both have  stood up well in training and that decisions would be made on how heavily they were involved on match day.

Should Noble not start his likely replacement will be Jack Wilshere whilst Antonio and Yarmolenko are the other two set to fight it out for a place.

The 66-year-old gaffer told reporters at Rush Green this afternoon “Both of them worked the whole week without problem and will be involved in the game on Saturday. Of course they are important players for us,

Antonio had a long injury and makes things happen in attacking, Mark Noble is the captain of the team. They are able to play.”

ClaretandHugh says: Can’t wait to see Michail again. My goodness he’s been badly missed and hopefully we’ll have Mark available because the Jack Wilshere – after so long out – really isn’t that attractive in a game which is going to demand everybody to be as near peak as it be gets. Thirty mintes of Michail may well be enough to create a terrific impact on the 90. So difficult to stop because as he famously said: “How can they when I don’t know what I am going to do next.”
