Nolan in ‘Team of the Week’

Kevin Nolan is a shock inclusion in the European team of the week from the Spanish newspaper Sport who each week select the best eleven players outside La Liga.

Nolan’s performance in the 1-1 draw with Swansea was enough to earn him a place in the team of the week where his ‘partner’ was  Juventus superstar Paul Pogba.

The newspaper claims that whilst Nolan is no longer the scoring threat he was in recent years he brings experience to the West Ham midfield.

His midfield ‘partner’ Pogba has become one of the best midfielders in world football since leaving Manchester United and has been one of the reasons for the Serie side’s success in the last couple of seasons.
