Nolan: “I’ve made my feelings known”

Kevin Nolan has made it clear he will be off if he doesn’t find himself part of new boss Slaven Bilic’s plans.The 33-year-old is of course in the last year of his contracy and has captained the team in our two Europa League qualifiers.

Now, speaking to the Express, he has made it clear he does not wish to spend any time on the sidelines.

He said: “I have made my feelings known that I don’t want to be sitting on the bench. I want to be playing and give my all in training.

“If that’s good enough, then great. If not, we’ll have to sit down and see where we go from there.“I’m coming to the tail-end of my career and I’ve got to do what’s best for me and my family. To be fair, we haven’t got that far yet but we’ll see.”
