Nolan to join Cole in Scotland

Kevin Nolan looks likely to train with Glasgow Rangers ahead of a potential move to Scotland, according to claims this morning.

The Daily Mail claims that Rangers boss Mark Warburton has invited the former Hammer to go up to Ibrox for a trial and to see if a deal can be done.

The report suggests that there are a number of clubs both in England and overseas who are interested in taking on Kevin Nolan, but he is taking his time before choosing what he believes is the right move.

Any deal for Kevin Nolan to play in the second tier of Scottish football, would probably see a big pay drop compared to what he was earning at West Ham. The former skipper is thought to have received a £1.4m pay off from the Irons.

Former Hammers striker Carlton Cole has signed for Celtic earlier this month after being released by West Ham over the Summer. The 32-year-old has signed a contract until the end of next season following a trial spell.
