Hammers Carlos Sachez and Pedro Obiang should move on say Claret and Hugh readers.  In a poll of 5,379 reader votes, 1,519 (28.24%) say Carlos Sanchez should be sold or moved on while 1,474 (27.4%) say Pedro Obiang should be sold.

Further down the pecking order were Josh Cullen with 526 (9.78%) Robert Snodgrass 443 (8.24%) Jack Wilshere 321 (5.97%) Grady Diangana 291 (5.41%) and Conor Coventry 259 (4.82%)

159 readers (2.96%) say Manuel Lanzini can go, 146 (2.71%) Nathan Holland, 80 (1.49%) Mark Noble and Andriy Yarmolenko 66 (1.23%)

Those receiving less 1% of the vote to move on were Michail Antonio 46 (0.86%) Pablo Fornals 2o (0.37%), Felipe Anderson 16 (0.3%) and Declan Rice 13 (0.24%)

With 15 midfielders on the West Ham books, it has been suggested by some that some midfielders should be sold to raise money and reduce the wage bill to fund further strikers.

Pedro Obiang wants to return to Italy and is valued around £8m, a formal bid has yet to be received by the midfielder who is said to earn over £50,000 per week.

Carlos Sanchez is valued at £1m at best but could be allowed to leave for free by mutual consent is also said to earn £50,000 per week.
