Obiang replacement is doubtful

The English version of Egyptian Ahly.news has today claimed West Ham have opened their doors to sign England international Mohamed Al-Neni during the summer transfer season. They say it is his last opportunity to escape from Arsenal and adds that West Ham sees Nini will as an ideal replacement for Pedro Mba Obiang, who is about to leave for Serie A.

They finish the fanciful tale by suggesting the transfer to the West Ham may cost the club a sum of up to 10 million euros (£9m) which may not be accepted by Arsenal. The player is reported to earn £55,000 per week in North London and the Premier League rivals are said to be keen to get him off their wage bill.

Claret and Hugh have been led to believe that there are no current plans to replace Pedro Obiang as it states in the report and therefore this report should be treated with the utmost scepticism. We give this story our lowest score in the rumour rater
