Outraged fans rip into Masuaku
Arthur Masuaku shamed the club and team but chiefly himself when red carded for spitting yesterday against Wigan in yesterday’s FA Cup match.
Here’s how followers on the ClaretandHugh Facebook group responded to his outrageous behaviour!
O Quite rightly sent off . Not a fan of him at the best of times, so I’m amazed he found a way of going down in my estimations.
O I’m reading that he’s in line for a six match ban for spitting. What he did was disgusting. You despair at how stupid these players can be!
O I think Masuaku has shown before that he is not one of the game’s great thinkers but this has shown him for what he is. With a fit squad I think he could become surplus to requirements.
O Disgraceful and loses us a man when we really cannot afford it. He’ll be banned and fined but that just gives him a break and hardly affects somebody earning so much.
O He should be sold in summer never wear the shirt again, when we get a fitter squad play Rice at left back and push Cresswell up as wing back.
O The Chelsea game was his peak. After that he’s gone downhill. His decision making is woeful. He regularly falls asleep and frequently gives the ball away. This disgraceful act is the last straw for me.
