Owner tells radio station West Ham not for sale
West Ham is not for sale according to Talksport host Jim White
Speaking on his TalkSport radio show earlier today Jim said “Just as we came on air, I got a call from one of the owners.” “They do not like the fact that, in their eyes, they’re being hung out to dry.”
White is well known to know David Sullivan and said ‘Are you going to walk away?’
The answer came back: ‘Not at the moment.’
Rumours have been rife on social media in the past few qweeks that a West Ham take-over bid will launched, perhaps by an American cosortium by the end of the year but there seems to be little substance at this time to back up these claims.
David Sullivan owns 51.5% of the club while David Gold owns 35.1% with 10% belonging to American tripp Smith and the remaining 3.4% split between Terry Brown, the Harris family and Karren Brady.
