Reece Oxford’s West Ham days look to be behind him after David Moyes allowed him to depart for Germany and Borrusia Monchengladbach today.

And the teenager will be hoping to pick up his life where he left it by making an immediate return to the Bundesliga side’s first team.

David Moyes looks to have called time on Oxford’s West Ham career by allowing him to leave the club despite a massive injury crisis and a shortage of midfield players.

And with the German outfit keen to sign the teenager permanently – although they will have competition from FC Leipzieg – it’s likely  that Oxford has spent his last month at the Irons.

Moyes has also released Reece Burke to continue his loan spell at Bolton Wanderers believing he needs more Championship experience. The defender looks set to return to their defence against Bristol City on Friday evening.

However, the manager has decided to keep Josh Cullen at the club and there will be no return to Bolton for the young midfielder.
